Tydeman Road is a busy industrial secondary road in North Fremantle, running from Stirling Highway in the east, past the residential areas of Burns Street and Pensioner Guard Road, over Queen Victoria Street, and then under the Fremantle Railway Line. It is a dual carriageway for much of its length, and receives heave freight traffic.
It is named after Frank Tydeman, who was General Manager of the Harbour Trust in the 1950s when the port was expanded in the vicinity of Tydeman Road (and elsewhere).
