RONAYNE, David, b. 1820, arr. 15.10.1841 per Ganges (with sister Mary), m. 1846 Fanny TYRROL (Frances Tomele/Fow1er?) b. 1827 bp. 8. 9.1850. Chd. Mary b. 1847, David b. 1853. Listed as a shepherd, but by 1847 was storekeeper at Perth & leased "Commercial Hotel" from G. Embleton. Fremantle 1854 advertised "Victoria Hotel" & store. Engaged with Captain Sandford in a whaling venture at Pt. Gregory in 1854. RC.
