John Hubbard was born in 1805 in England. He arrived in the Swan River Colony in 1929 on the Lotus.

He owned Perth Town Lot G12. Worked for Brockman listed in 1837 Census. Listed later as a saw miller at Perth & Williams. Employed 14 T/L men (mostly sawyers) 1854-1867.
A John Hubbard is listed in Errington (2023) as being jailed on the Marquis of Anglesea, 12 April 1830, for misconduct as a servant.
