Granted leave of absence. Returned to Australia 30.12.1853 per Sydney, calling at Albany on his way to take up appointment as Resident Manager of Banking & Gold Purchasing Co. in Victoria.
In the 1832 Census he is no. 269: 21, from Nottingham, an agriculturist.
