Jaylu Flats

Jaylu Flats, 34 Queen Street, is at the eastern end of Henderson Street, where it meets Queen Street.

The name Jaylu Flats was created by combining the beginning of the first names of owners James and Lucy Phanos.

The building was constructed in 1964 over some remnants of a block of four terrace houses designed in 1897 by the Architect Peter John Wilson, for the original developer Mr Candy, who continued to own them until the 1940s.
