The Harbour Battery is the former Second World War gun emplacement at the end of South Mole (it originally also comprised a 2nd emplacement at the end of North Mole). The battery was built in 1942, and comprised two 6-pounder Hotchkiss, two 12-pounder naval guns, and two QF 75 mm guns.[1]
