Anemoi in 2018. Photograph by Daniel Giuffre.

Anemoi is a public artwork located in the walkway through the Liv apartment complex between Queen Victoria Street and Quarry Street. It was created in 2018 by Rick Vermey and Daniel Giuffre.

The artwork is a sculptural ceiling to the walkway, and comprises triangular soffit panels that wrap the building structure in a geometric undulating form. At the intersections of the triangles are wind-powered LED lights, that change colour and intensity in a slow repeating pattern.

It was commissioned by Defence Housing Australia (who built the apartment block), as a development requirement from the City of Fremantle's 'Percent for Art' scheme.
