Alfred Joseph Gregg
Grave of Alfred Joseph (Alf) Gregg, who was Secretary of the Fremantle Workers Club 1923-1933, in Fremantle Cemetery at location C103
William Renton was the President of the Lumpers Union at the time of the 1919 Riot on the wharf. He was struck down by police with a blow to the head. Going to his rescue, Tom Edwards was also struck on the head, and died three days later as a result of the injury. Bill Renton led the Edwards funeral procession from Trades Hall to the Cemetery.
