The Waterside Workers' Federation was a union that operated in Fremantle from 1902 to 1993. Its first general president was Billy Hughes. It merged with the Seamen's Union to form the Maritime Union of Australia.
In 1946 the Lumpers Union became the Fremantle branch of the WWF.
