Walter Edward Peto Munyard worked for the Tramways, and lived in Solomon Street.

THE LATE MR. W.E.P. MUNYARD
The funeral of the late Mr. Walter Edward Peto Munyard, of the Fremantle Municipal Tramways, and of Mary-street, Fremantle, took place in the Baptist portion of the Karrakatta cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Harry Reeve officiated at the graveside in the presence of a large gathering.
The deceased gentleman was born at Port Augusta, South Australia, and after living in South Australia for eight years and New South Wales for a further eight years, came to Western Australia in 1894. He was on the East Murchison Goldfields for about six years and then spent 12 years on the Eastern Goldfields. For the last 20 years Mr. Munyard had resided in Fremantle and practically all that time has been in the service of the Fremantle tramways.
Masonic affairs occupied his attention, and while in Boulder he was an active member-of the Mossgirl Lodge No. 902 S.C. The deceased had suffered indifferent health for some time, but had only been away from work two months prior to his death.
Always of very bright disposition and charitably disposed, Mr. Munyard was popular and respected. He was a keen fisherman, which sport occupied most of his leisure time.
A widow and two sons are left to mourn their loss.
The chief mourners were Mrs. Munyard (wife), Messrs. Jack and Ted Munyard (sons), Mesdames E. Holmes, A. Fidock and A. Squires (sisters), Mr. R. McAlister (brother-in-law), Mrs. R. Mc- Alister (sister-in-law), Messrs. A. M. and R. Munyard and L. Fidock (nephews), Mesdames A. M. and R. Munyard and L. Fidock and Miss D. Holmes (nieces), and Mr. and Mrs. E. Munyard (cousins). The pall-bearers were the Mayor of Fremantle (Mr. F. E. Gibson), representing Loyal Westralian Lodge No. 18 W.A.C.; Messrs. John Cooke (Tramways Board), J. E. Ridgway (engineer) and E. Bolt (inspector), J. Mark - (running staff), A. R. Woolcock (Fremantle Municipal Tramways), L. H. Cole (secretary Tramways Union), A. Hines (P.U.L.).
The cortege was preceded from the cemetery gates to the grave by members of the Fremantle Municipal Tramways,' headed by Mr. A. J. Wood (president of the Tramways Union) and the coffin was borne to the graveside by Messrs. N. Cook and H. E. Hobbs (vice-presidents of the Tramways Union), J. _Wauhop, J. Fulton, W. Gordon and C. Kennedy. Numerous floral tributes were" placed on the grave and widespread expressions of sympathy have been extended to the bereaved relatives.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. A. E. Davies & Co.
