Virginia Ann Ryan was a community worker in Fremantle. She died aged only 46, in 1992. Virginia Ryan Park was named after her, soon after her death. She was born in about 1946 to Arthur Augustus Abbott and Thora Pearl Abbott née Oxman.[1]
