The biennial T.A.G. Hungerford Award is a literary award given to new works by Western Australian authors. It is run by Fremantle Press and sponsored by the City of Fremantle, Fremantle Library and the West Australian and has been running since 1988.
It is named after Tom Hungerford, whose connection to Fremantle includes the 1976 work Fremantle: Landscapes and People (photos by Roger Garwood).
