Thursday 3 March 7pm

The Fremantle Society's dinner at the recently refurbished Federal Hotel in William Street

Fremantle (formerly Rosie O'Grady's).
The Federal Hotel opened the same year as the Town Hall (1887) and has been an important part of the life of the West Ward, as the area was known. The first WA meeting of the State ALP was held in the hotel, but those of other political persuasions will be allowed through the doors. Thank goodness the original name of the hotel has been reinstated.
Two course meal $30, plus tour of the upstairs rooms by the licensee. Bookings essential.

The Society (through a document prepared by Agnieshka Kiera) told me it wanted a calendar of the Society's activities to be one of the items in the template. I don't have ongoing access to such information, so have put here the few items I happen to know about, partly from the official site.
