Robert Budd (or Budden) was born in 1802. He arrived in the Swan River Colony on 23 August 1829 on the Marquis of Anglesea. In 1810 he had married Ann, and their son Henry was born at sea on the voyage out. On 4 January 1831 both Ann and Henry were drowned in a boating accident. Robert left the Colony on 13 September 1831 on Cruizer, bound for India.[1]
