The Radical Bookshop was a bookshop specialising in Marxist literature. It was a branch of a group of shops by the same name, and opened in 1935 at 45 High Street.

Fremantle Readers Please Note
In order to cater for the growing demand for Marxist literature the Radical Bookshop has opened a branch in Fremantle.
The Fremantle premises are situated at 45 High Street, next to the offices of the "Sentinel" newspaper. Working-class newspapers, periodicals and pamphlets will be on sale as we'll as theoretical works by Marx. Engels, Lenin, and Stalin. A feature will be the sale of Soviet novels, and of course ample supplies of "The Real Russia," Comrade Throssell's vivid account of her travels in the Soviet Union, will be available.
