(Redirected from Chesterfield)

Chesterfield was a suburb in what is now South Fremantle that included John Street [now unknown], Douro Road, Hewitt Street (now Daly Street), William Street (now Chester Street), and Lloyd Street. It was subdivided by John Chester and named Chesterfield in 1887. By 1930 the name was no longer in use.

The Heritage Council entry for 9 Douro Road says:[1]

Between 1900 and 1930, Chesterfield was a separate suburb, focused around Douro Road.
