Thomas Whiteley

Thomas William Whiteley was born in York, WA. He was the first registered builder in the state, and designed and built many prominent buildings, including the National Hotel, and his own home on the corner of Malcolm and Tuckfield Streets.

He built, 1899-1900, the Carroll house that is now the Left Bank.
