William Frederick Samson
William Frederick Samson (the first of that name) was the son of Lionel Samson, and Mayor of Fremantle 1892-93. His house was on Lot 6, the SW corner of Cliff and High Sts. The site is now a carpark owned by NDU, next to the Marina Village apartments in the former tramways carbarn.
William Frederick Samson is buried in the same grave as his father Lionel Samson, in Fremantle Cemetery, Jewish Orthodox, F2.

Joined his father's business in 1878 and became sole proprietor of Lionel Samson and Son. Visited eastern colonies 1877. Fremantle Councillor 1883-1891, Mayor 1892-1893. Director of W.A.
