William Dalgety b. 1834 d. 1910, Mary Elizabeth b. 1837 d. 1907, Frederick b. 1839, Annie F1etcher b. 1841 d. 1929, Samuel b. 1842 d. 1846 of an accident with a horse, Samuel Joseph b. 1846 d. 1921. Settled at "Oakover" Middle Swan, on land bt from W. Dixon & selected 560 acres at Leschenault. Owned several town lots at Perth & Frem. A progressive agriculturist, as well as business man. Held importing agencies & owned stores at Frem. He had his own river barges to bring goods up the river to Perth & Guildford. Chairman of WA Bank 1841 & Director of Agric. Soc. Leased Garden Island 1841 & the Guildford Steam Flour Mill in 1844. Committee member of WA Mining Co. & a Steamship Co. JP. MLC. The recession in trade left his family poor. His widow probably visited SA with chd 12.10.1856, returning 1857.
