John Miles
Perhaps as a tailor John Miles could not get enough work, and he left for VDL after only two years.
Erickson:
MILES, John, b. 1807, arr. 23. 8.1829 per Marquis of Anglesea with wife Elizabeth b. 1806. A tailor by trade, they came as servants to John Simmonds. Dep. 1.1831 per Eagle for Tasmania.
