George Mangles
George Mangles was on the passenger list of the Parmelia (1829), but does not appear in the Dictionary of Western Australians, nor in the Census of 1832. Statham-Drew notes his existence on a single page, on which she says that he was a young cousin of James's wife Ellen (née Mangles) and that the Governor made him Director of Stock.
He returned to England in 1832, dying the following year (ADB).
