JONES, Richard ("Bull"), b. 1795 (Wales), d. 8.4.1862 (Upper Swan), arrival not known. (thought by I. Berryman to have come per Nancy 9.1.1830 as servants to Lt. Bull). Claimed by some descendants to have arr. as a soldier 6.1829 per Sulphur. m. (Wales) Mary BROWN b. 1804 d. 26.9.1885 (Gingin). Chd. Esther b. 1833 d. 1925, Samuel Wheeler b. 1835 d. 1898, Henry b. 1838 d. 1901, Amelia b. 1842 d. 1896, Robert b. 1845 d. 1928, Mary Katherine b. 1848 d. 1911. Corporal in Br. Army. Farm labourer, owned "Cliffston" Upper Swan. Teamster & sandalwooder, Bindoon-Guildford. Family tradition "Bullsbrook" named after him. Self-taught. C/E. (Erickson).
