Erickson:
JECKS, Isaac, b. 1801, uncle of Thomas, arr. 5.8.1829 per Calista with wife Hannah b. 1804. Storekeeper & innkeeper at Frem. 1830. Granted 6906 acres in Swan district. He grew grape vines at Mt Eliza which he irrigated - but was willing to relinquish some land there in exchange for some at the Point. To SA & returned 1845. Sold his Swan land to W.G. Brockman & offered to lease his Town Lots etc. Dep. 21.8.1845 for England leaving his affairs in hands of his nephew Thomas. Lit .
Berryman:
Jecks, Isaac and Hannah Jecks: a farmer from Cambridgeshire, came out in the Calista with his wife Hannah and although not recorded on the census they are not known to have left the colony.
