Dr Ingle Knight PhD M.Couns.

Counsellor and Narratologist

(Also: writer | actor | director | cinema)

Dramatist, performer, speechwriter, freelance copywriter, occasional academic, and now counsellor, The Australian newspaper has called Ingle “a particular genius”.

Counsellor: Ingle has completed a Masters of Counselling (NDU) 2021, and begun a new career.

Playwright: twice winner of the Premier's Book Awards for best script, his plays have received numerous national and international tours. He won the Richard Burton Playwriting Award for Taking Liberty - about Australia's winning the America's Cup. His highly successful solo shows have toured nationally and internationally.

Actor: in theatre (over 50 professional productions), film (three features) and multiple television roles.

Copy-writer: scripts, speeches, business documents and web-copy for a wide range of institutions and businesses including the Australian Catholic University, Ernst and Young, the NSW Department for Industry, and the ILO.

Teacher: he has a PhD in Communications and Narratology from Murdoch University and extensive experience as an acting teacher, a lecturer and tutor in scriptwriting, drama studies and film studies with numerous W.A. universities and colleges.
