Patrick Hevron
Patrick John Hevron (12 May 1867-1930) was born in North Fremantle, son of Denis William and Catherine Hevron (nee Kernon). Patrick married Silda Ann Matison (1871-1962) on 30.10.1894 in Fremantle. He was apprenticed to Pearse Brothers in the leather trade and later established his own business as a customs and forwarding agent. He was a Councillor at North Fremantle 1897, 1900* and Mayor 1904-1905. Patrick Hevron was the Foundation President of the Fremantle Trotting Club 1927-1930. Photograph Fremantle Library Local History Collection text and 1900 photo #3811.
- The library entry has 1897-1920, but its spreadsheet of North Freo reps has 1897 and 1900. I'm guessing that the latter is more likely, and the first is a typo.
