Gordon Frederick Dedman (1895-1950) was mayor of North Fremantle 1948-49. The Gordon Dedman Reserve, in the community centre of North Fremantle, is named in his honour. His father, George Joseph Dedman was Inspector of Permanent Way, WA Government Railways.
