Charles Cooper
Convict No. 2779, Chas. Cooper arrived on the Sea Park 5 April 1854, receiving his T/L on arrival. He was later Charles George Harvey Cooper, Clerk to the Attorney General in Perth, and Senior Law Clerk at the legal firm of Stone & Burt.
He was born 17 December 1827 in Walworth, Surrey, his father being Frederick Hellyer Cooper. He was tried at the Old Bailey 17 December 1849 and convicted of 'burglary with breakout' and sentenced to ten years transportation. He married Sarah Catherine Waldeck. He died 26 December 1886 of pneumonia.
