Eric Edgar Cooke
In relation to Fremantle, serial killer Eric Cooke is known specifically for only two things: being the last person to be hanged in Fremantle [[../buildings/prison.html|Prison]], and being buried in Fremantle [[../cemeteries/carrington.html|Cemetery]], in the same grave and above the remains of Martha Rendell, who was also hanged for murder. The grave is unmarked, except for a number. However, there is a 'tour' plaque, as the Rendell/Cooke grave is no. 8 on the 'Heritage Tour'.
