Charles b. 1823 d. 1893, Ruth b. 1824 d. 1831, William b. 1826, George b. 1829 d. 1838, Elizabeth b. 1831 d. 1831. One of Lautour's settlers. Employed by J. Fleay at Beverley 1840s. Leased WaIter's grant. Listed in York Census 1859, an established farmer employing 3 men. Northam, 80ac Avon Loc in 1865; & 120 ac in 1868. "Grass Valley" (The Wattles). Lease terminated 1875. Bought the "Farmers Home" later known as "Shamrock Hotel". Employed 5 T/L men 1863-1867. C/E.

Berryman:
George Christmas, 32, widower, Sussex, farm servant, Lautour.

The Shamrock Hotel is in Northam, est. 1866. Christmass, until then a farmer, bought it in 1869.
