(Redirected from Tram Tours)

Tram Tours have been run in Fremantle since the early 1980s. They are not actual trams, but diesel buses make to look a bit like trams.

Tony Baker writes that the trams began in 1983, when they were part of tourist packages that included a river cruise to East Street Jetty from Perth.[1]

For two successive Heritage Weeks, c. 2016, Don Whittingon conducted special tram tours showing buildings that would have been demolished had it not been for the work of the Fremantle Society, of which at the time he was Vice-President.
I didn't take the photoo. In fact, I'm in it – just to the left of Don's head.
