Born in Subiaco, to parents Lynn and Don Blue, Lyndon went to school at Shenton College, before studying at the University of Western Australia. They completed a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours in English and Art History. They studied further at the Victorian College of the Arts, specialising in linguistics, town planning, pop musicology, philosophy and interactive composition.[1]

Blue served on Committee at the Fremantle Buffalo Club in 2022. Their involvement with the club came about while looking for a venue for a Spice World show. The lack of active venues in Fremantle at the time led to joining the club, and joining committee along with Billie Burrows and Billy Bowen.[3]
Blue works for the City of Melville as the Associate Curator (Music and Public Programs) at Goolugatup Heathcote.[4] They formerly worked for the City of Fremantle at the Fremantle Library. Blue is a volunteer on the local community radio station RTRFM 92.1, occasionally presenting the Difficult Listening segment.[5]
