Lilly Street runs north-south between South Street and Lefroy Road, passing Dale Street and crossing Martha Street. It is named after James Lilly, manager of the Adelaide Steamship Company for three years from 1886. Most of the houses on the street are listed in the Lilly Street Precinct heritage group.
