Chd. Sarah b. 1858, William Edward b. 1860 d . 1937, John b. & d. 1862, Ellen b. 1863 d. 1906, Alice Rose b. 1866, Frederick John b. 1869 d. 1874, Elizabeth Jane (Ada) b. 1872 d. 1910, George Wilfred b. 1876, Harry Leslie b. & d. 1879. Sawyer, stock keeper, farmer & market gardener. In 1852 bt. Lot 42 of 10 acres at Canning, building up his holding to 1,000 acres by 1900.
