The John Curtin statue was installed in Kings Square in 2005, outside the town hall. It depicts John Curtin, waving a sheaf of papers (perhaps in parliament? Or from his days as editor of the Westralian Worker?). It was sculpted by Charles Smith and Joan Walsh-Smith.[1]
