Jenkin Street is a residential street in South Fremantle, running east-west from Hampton Road down over Chester Street and South Terrace to Marine Terrace. It also intersects Daly Street, Belmont Street, and Inverleith Street.
The street was named after the Reverend J.G. Jenkin, who was minister of the Methodist Church until his transfer to Adelaide in x[TODO].[1]
Before it had its current name, it was called By-the-Sea Road.[2]
