Henry Olivieri (27 April 1927 – 1 November 1993) was made a life member of the Buffalo Club in 1983.[1]
He came to Australia aged about 11 from Florence, Italy, in 1938. He travelled with his mother and brother on the Orion. Their father Leonello had "died suddenly while working in Abyssinia".[2]
Henry was president of the Buffalo Club for thirteen years, from about 1973 to about 1985. He also raised money for the Flying Angel Club.
He died of an asbestos-related illness, acquired through his work at the Fremantle Harbour. He was living in Albany at the time.[3]
