George Trevor Butcher (some sources have George J. Butcher) was a Pilot and later Acting Harbourmaster at Fremantle Harbour in 1867–68.[1]
He was born in 1827 in England, the son of Samuel and Mary née Kiddle. He arrived in 1860 on Tien Tsin of which he was the Chief Officer.[2]
His son was Samuel George Butcher, also a Pilot.

Harbour Master at KGS until death 1900. Employed a T/L man 1872. Made several voyages to Fremantle & Eastern colonies.
