Geoffrey J. Higham is a Western Australian historian, and a descendant of Mary Higham.
He was recognised in the 2024 WA Volunteer Service Awards:[1]
Geoffrey was celebrated for his 50 years of service to Rail Heritage WA.
The group operates the Railway Museum in Bassendean, which opened in 1974.

Geoffrey was there from the days when it was still an empty block, spending weekends digging up the sand, helping to lay tracks and bring in carriages and locomotives.
Geoffrey is the author of rail related books including Marble Bar to Mandurah, which tells the story of rail passenger services in WA, and All Stations to Guildford, marking the 125th anniversary of the railway from Fremantle to Guildford and Midland.
