Edwyn John Powell was a builder and contractor in Fremantle in the early 20th century. He was born in Albany in about 1879, and moved to Fremantle from Northam.

He was raised to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes order of Knight of Merit on 28 September 1922 at Fremantle Lodge No. 34.[1]

He died in Fremantle Hospital on 31 May 1936, and was buried in Fremantle Cemetery.[2] He was survived by his wife and son.
