Edmund Northcart

NORTHCART (NORTHEAST), Edmund, b. 1801, arr. 5.8.1829 per [[../ships/northcartedmund.html|Calista]] with wife Jane b. 1801 d. before 6.1832. Chd. Charles b. 1828. Was one of Lautour's party & when discharged from his indentures applied 20.10.1830 to Res. Mag. Ellis at Canning for work. Was employed by Samuel Moore at "Oakover" 1840s & his son worked for Dodd at "Cobham" York district.

In the 1832 census (Berryman), he is "Northest" as well as Northcart, 28, from Sussex, brought by Lautour.

In the 1837 census, he is "Northeast", a servant on Samuel Moore's farm "Oakover", and his son Charles (b. Kent) is at Cobham Farm.
