Dorothy Tangney was a Western Australian Senator. She went to school in Fremantle (at St Joseph's Convent School and then St Joseph's College), after moving here with her family when she was eight.
Tangney Crescent in Samson is named after her.[1] A relief sculpture of her likeness is on the Norfolk Street wall of Oddfellows Hotel.
