Holdsworth Street is an urban street with mostly commercial properties as well as some residential at the east end. It starts at Stirling Street and runs downhill, over Parry Street, to end past the Magitrates' Court where it connects to the intersection of Queen Street and Henderson Street.

It was renamed to Holdsworth in 1908, from Doonan, because of the similarity of that name with Douro Road.[1]
