Name a Room!

We are now in the happy position to consider naming the various rooms that will make up the new Fremantle Park Sport and Community Centre and we need your help. Prizes are to be won if your suggestion is adopted.

All rooms and spaces will be available to members and the community to hire for meetings, activities, events and social functions.

The purpose behind naming spaces is for easy identification and marketing

Names can also represent significant elements about the particular space or have some meaning in the community or to our members.

The committee would like to invite you to make some suggestions for the following spaces:

Upper Level

The upper level has two separable rooms that can also be combined into a single space holding up to a total of 256 people depending on the set up. The bar and kitchen are accessible from both areas. Audio-visual equipment is also included in both spaces.

Name this space 1

Upper Level Function Area 1.  This includes the sprung dance floor and balcony.
The bar and kitchen are accessible from the room, which can be used for a wide variety of activities. The Workers Club will hold their weekly music and dance sessions here.

Name this space 2

Upper Level Function Area 2. Carpeted and can be used for seminars, meetings, social functions or a lounge bar and restaurant.

Ground Floor Space

Name this space 3

Café. This area will have a few tables inside and outside, so potentially could hold 20-25 people and can be a meeting area after a game or activity. This space will cater for junior members and others wanting non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.

Name this space 4

Meeting Room. This can hold up to 48 people depending on setup. It can be used for meetings, seminars, small exercise groups or games. A roller door separates this area from access to the bar that will be open or closed depending on the activity. It will include audio-visual equipment.

Name this space 5

Entertainment Area and Alfresco Seating. This space includes the bar and is the main space for the sporting clubs to gather after play. It can be hired out separately or combined with the meeting room as an operable wall separates the two spaces. Food options will be available via the café or upstairs kitchen.
