Charles Percival Rule was a municipal councillor, first for North Fremantle (19481960) and then Fremantle (19611962 and 19681973). He served on the Fremantle Cemetery Advisory Committee, was President of Friendly Societies' Pharmacies for 21 years, and was Secretary of the North Fremantle Bowling Club for 20 years.[1]

He was born in 1909 in Subiaco, to Charles Rule and Minnie Jane Rule née Glanfield.[2]

Rule Street in North Fremantle was named in his honour in 1969 (when its name was changed from Bay Road).

He died on 8 September 1986,[3] aged 76.[4]
