Maylands Buildings
Killowen, Thirlmere Avenue, is now in Mount Lawley. It was part of original Swan Location Z, and built 1903 for Robert Thomson Robinson, KC, MP. The Sisters of Mercy bought the property in 1933 after his 1926 death and it became St Anne's Mercy Hospital. A large part of its function was as a maternity hospital. I was born there in 1943. It is now part of St John of God Mt Lawley.
