"Pendennis", Isaac Bolton's house, 2 Barnett Street

Built 1896. Extant. Built for Isaac Bolton, coach builder and founder of Bolton & Sons Coach Builders. Restored by Les Lauder early 1970s. Subsequently owned by John Dawkins, Treasurer in the Keating government 1991-93. The house next door, No. 4, built for H.C. Barnett in 1896 [?], was owned by his brother, planner, in the 1980s.
