Alfred Burton, Canon
Canon Burton is mentioned in the third part of volume one of Early Days as being on the Council of the RWAHS. He was published in its journal, Early Days, from Part 2 of Volume 1 onwards.

BURTON, Alfred, Canon (1865-1947)
Canon Alfred Burton was a well-known clergyman. Author of History of Swan District and History of Hale School and noted for his historical research in church beginnings in WA. He was ordained 17 May 1895 and was Canon of St George's Cathedral, Perth.
