2 Clontarf Road is now a housing estate.
The Metropolitan Transportation Trust depot at 2 Clontarf Road was built after 1961, when it was initially proposed that it should be built at the old Naval Stores site on Shuffrey Street. However, that land was retained for the use of John Curtin High School, and the MTT maintenance barn was moved to Beaconsfield.[1]
